These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments, purchases and use of the Silver Sixpence Bridal website. By booking an appointment, purchasing a dress or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Appointments
- All bridal appointments must be booked in advance.
- Standard bridal appointments last approximately 90 minutes, unless otherwise stated.
- Some appointment types may require a booking fee, which will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
- Appointment fees are non-refundable, but may be transferable at our discretion.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Late cancellations or non-attendance may result in the loss of any booking fee paid.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, fees will be refunded or transferred.
Guest Numbers
- Guest numbers are limited per appointment and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to additional guests.
Dress Orders & Purchases
Made-to-Order Dresses
- Made-to-order dresses are created specifically for the bride and are non-refundable and non-returnable.
- A 50% deposit of the dress price is required at the time of ordering.
- The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full before or on collection.
- No dress will be released until full payment has been received.
- Delivery times vary by designer and are estimates only. Dresses may arrive earlier than expected, in which case the remaining balance will be payable within 7 days of arrival.
Eco Collection (Pre-Loved Dresses)
- Pre-loved dresses are sold as seen and may show signs of gentle wear.
- All Eco Collection sales are final and non-refundable.
- Brides are encouraged to inspect dresses carefully before purchase.
Sizing & Alterations
- Wedding dresses are not made to measure and will require alterations for a perfect fit.
- Alteration costs are not included in the dress price.
- Your stylist will take measurements and recommend a size based on the designer’s size chart. Bridal sizing differs from UK high street sizing.
- Final size selection is the responsibility of the bride and must be confirmed at the time of ordering.
- We are not responsible for fit issues resulting from changes in body shape after purchase.
Dress Arrival & Collection
- All dresses undergo quality checks upon arrival.
- You will be contacted to arrange an initial try-on. Attendance within 7 days of arrival is strongly advised.
- We recommend avoiding fake tan before fittings and ask guests not to touch dresses or bring drinks into fitting areas.
- Dresses must be collected once fully paid for.
Wedding Cancellations & Storage
- In the event of a wedding cancellation, the dress must still be paid for in full and collected within 14 days.
- Uncollected items may incur storage charges of £10 per item per month.
- We strongly recommend wedding insurance.
Payments
- All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Outstanding balances must be paid in full before collection.
Liability
- We are not responsible for personal belongings brought into the boutique.
- We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
